Catzilla Ending Guide — 7 Days Cat-Sitting

Catzilla (also called Godzilla in some commentary) is the street-giant ending in 7 Days Cat-Sitting. A massive creature walks the block outside. Turn the TV on to interrupt its advance. Let it finish the street and everything blows — badge Catzilla. The cruel twist: the same TV left on overnight can award Screen Time instead. This guide teaches the on/off timing, the farm route, and how the embedded playthrough video shows why punishment endings hit hard when you mismanage props.

Signs Catzilla is in play

  • A giant creature visible on the street outside
  • Movement along the block that was not there during earlier window checks
  • Community shorthand “Godzilla” / “donkey” / street kaiju — same threat family in player chat

If the outdoors are featureless darkness and the mailbox is gone, prioritize Void blinds first — Voided Ending. Street giant and Void are different systems.

Survive: TV on, then TV off

  1. Spot the creature during a window or street check.
  2. Turn the television on to stop / put it to sleep.
  3. Confirm the street threat is handled.
  4. Turn the TV off again before you sleep.
  5. Finish remaining chores and the night audit on the Daily Chores Checklist.

That two-step TV rule is the #1 Catzilla soft lock for new players. They heroically stop the monster, leave the screen glowing, sleep proud, and wake with Screen Time.

Farm: unlock Catzilla on purpose

  1. Keep other chores correct.
  2. When the street giant appears, leave the TV off.
  3. Do not interrupt its walk.
  4. Sleep (or otherwise let the route complete) so Catzilla can award.
  5. Confirm the badge on Roblox.

Farm Screen Time on a different night by surviving Catzilla correctly, then deliberately leaving the TV on at bed — one intentional mistake per sleep.

Timing mistakes that ruin both goals

TV never on. Creature finishes the block → Catzilla when you wanted survival.

TV stays on. Creature stopped, but Screen Time steals the clear.

TV fight during HIDE. If HIDE flashes, hide first, then return to street/TV logic.

Misreading wall color behind the TV. A wrong wall color can be Misplaced, not a Catzilla cue — Misplaced Ending.

How this pairs with Day 1

Day 1 players learn the TV exists while also learning laser, mail, and lock. Put “street check → TV on → TV off” into your spoken loop early via Day 1 Survival and Getting Started. After one clean Catzilla save, the motion sticks.

Catzilla is a prop puzzle wearing a kaiju costume. Own the remote twice — once to save the block, once to save the night.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about surviving Whiskers and every anomaly.

How do I stop Catzilla in 7 Days Cat-Sitting?

Turn the TV on when the street giant appears. After it is handled, turn the TV off again before sleeping.

How do I get the Catzilla ending badge?

Leave the street creature alone — do not turn the TV on — and let the fail route complete while keeping other chores correct.

Why did I stop Catzilla and still get a bad ending?

You probably left the TV on overnight and earned Screen Time. Turn the TV off after the creature is handled.

Is Catzilla the same as Void?

No. Void is missing mailbox plus outdoor darkness fixed with blinds. Catzilla is a street giant fixed with the TV.

What if the wall color behind the TV looks wrong?

That can be a Misplaced tell, not Catzilla. Investigate layout changes separately from the street-giant response.

Where is Catzilla listed with other badges?

On the All Endings guide alongside Screen Time and the rest of the 24 badges.
